MasonryDefender All Purpose Concrete Brick & Stone Sealant is a high performance, penetrating silane/siloxane blended water repellent that provides long lasting water repellency on concrete and masonry surfaces. This water-based product is a breathable, non-film forming, concrete sealer exterior water repellent that will not alter surface color or appearance. It protects most vertical and horizontal, exterior, above-grade concrete surfaces. It can be used on residential driveways, patios, sidewalks, brick walls, stone walls, concrete walls, chimneys, or any other bare masonry or concrete surfaces. It protects most masonry or concrete surfaces including concrete, brick, stone, cultured stone, sandstone, limestone, granite and more. Natural substrate color and surface textures are unaffected with little or no gloss created. Slight darkening may occur on dense surfaces. Testing is recommended before treating any surface to ensure desired results. This product is designed to protect and waterproof and seal concrete and masonry surfaces once they have been properly cleaned with MasonryDefender All Purpose Masonry & Concrete Cleaner.

MasonryDefender All Purpose Concrete, Brick & Stone Sealer

This concrete sealer can cover a range from 90-150 sq. ft. per gallon depending on surface porosity. Before applying to your concrete, please make sure that the surface is completely clean and allowed to dry for at least 6 hours. Available in both a 1 gallon and a 2.5 gallon container. Unlike heavy 5 gallon containers, the 2.5 gallon containers are easier to lift, and easy to pour. This product isn’t just for concrete. It can be used as an all purpose water repellent and sealer for any bare masonry, concrete, or natural stone surface.

How To Apply The Concrete, Brick & Stone Sealer

Make sure that the surface temperature is a minimum of 40°F and a maximum of 100°F for three hours following application. Once your surface is free and clear of any dirt and debris, use a low pressure pump-up garden sprayer to spray a thin, even layer. The use of a sprayer will allow you to evenly apply the product. For vertical surfaces, start at the bottom and work your way towards the top, applying a flood coat so that the sealer runs down approximately 6″ from where you’re spraying. The surface should remain wet for 2-3 minutes before final absorption. Apply a second coat within a few minutes of the first. On horizontal surfaces, avoid puddling or ponding; brush or broom to spread material until the sealer thoroughly penetrates the surface. Surface will be dry in 2-6 hours, depending on temperature and humidity. Allow 24 hours before driving on surface.
