APPLICATION

Using a sprayer, liberally apply the stain evenly and continuously in a circular motion over the surface. Avoid spraying in a uniform pattern. Random circles are best to prevent visible lines in the stain. Try to avoid excessive puddling. Keep the stain container on concrete but close to the work surface to prevent dripping. The stain will foam for a few seconds as it reacts with the concrete.

As foaming takes place, continue expanding the area very slightly to the outer edges. Once the material reacts and the foaming stops, the residue should not be applied to uncolored sections. Use fresh material to continue staining the unstained surface, working well back into the completed section to avoid lap marks. Maintain a wet edge throughout the procedure. Do not track stains onto the pavement that is to remain uncolored.

We recommend testing the stain in a small area to ensure you are satisfied with the color stain.Allow the stain to dry before removing residue.The color produced from VIVID acid stain will rely heavily on skill, practice, and experimentation.VIVID Acid Stains may not be effective in older or weathered concrete or concrete subject to runoff or dripping water. Heavily sandblasted concrete may have little or no chemical reaction.
