It is our highest solids clear coating using our bio-renewable polyurethane chemistry to deliver a non-toxic concrete and wood sealer that serves as a high-quality replacement for hazardous epoxies, acrylics, and polyurethanes.

How to Use & Apply The Concrete & Wood Coating:

Eco-Tuff is fast and easy to apply. Unlike typical sealers, it won’t leave lingering solvent odors.

Use a high-quality brush, roller, squeegee, trim pad, airless or HVLP sprayer. Apply a minimum of two coats on the surface for optimum finish. Allow 30 – 60 minutes dry time betweeen coats or until dry.

Polyurethane Wood Sealer

Application on Wood Surfaces:

For best results, always prepare the wood by sanding to desired finish after repairing scratches, divots, etc. with a paintable filler. If applying over a previously installed sealer or coating other than a EcoTuff sealer, lightly sand to provide sufficient texture for improved bonding. If the coating is peeling, remove prior to application. If your wood is very porous, you may consider applying our Eco-Poly Sealer as a base coat and act as a primer to fill the pores for maximum spread rate.

Apply a minimum of two coats with a roller, squeegee, airless or HVLP sprayer. If you must use a roller, use only a low nap (1/4″) or high density foam roller applying in slow back and forth motion to avoid creating bubbles when sealing wood floors. Eco-Tuff flows smooth and will self level.

Polyurethane Concrete Sealer

Application on Concrete Surfaces:

Prepare new and unsealed concrete with Eco-Etch Pro to remove any loose finish layer and concrete dust if only applying a sealer coat. If applying over a previously stained or coated floor after 36 hours of install, lightly sand to provide sufficient texture for improved bonding. If the coating is peeling, remove prior to application. If your concrete is very porous, you may consider applying our Eco-Poly Sealer as a base coat to fill the pores for maximum spread rate.

Apply a minimum of two coats with a roller, squeegee, airless, or HVLP sprayer. If you use a roller, use (1/4″ – 3/8″) nap or high density foam roller if applying on a concrete countertop in a slow back and forth motion to avoid creating bubbles. Note: If applying on areas with vehicular or high commercial traffic, it is always advisable to remove any existing sealers before application as the new sealer will only be as strong as what it is being applied to.

Polyurethane Cabinet Sealer

Application on Cabinets & Doors:

Always prepare the surface by removing all contaminants and bond breakers. If applying over a previously installed sealer or coating other than a Eco-Poly sealer, lightly sand to provide sufficient texture for improved bonding. If the sealer is peeling, remove prior to application.

Apply a minimum of two coats with a brush, foam trim pad, high density foam roller or by HVLP sprayer. If using a high density foam roller apply in a slow back and forth motion to avoid creating bubbles. Apply sealer in thin uniform coats. Build up your coats for a more durable and beautiful finish. Always be sure the coating is dry to the touch before applying additional coats. You may accelerate dry time with forced air. .
